Museo Palatino, also known as the Palatine Museum, is a museum located on the Palatine Hill in Rome, Italy. It was established in 1875 and contains a collection of ancient Roman art and artifacts. The museum features a variety of artwork, including sculpture, frescoes, and mosaics, as well as Roman coins and other archaeological relics. One of its most famous exhibits is the Farnese collection, which includes famous sculptures such as the Farnese Hercules and the Farnese Bull. Many of the items on display were originally part of the private collection of the Farnese family, who were prominent in Renaissance Italy. The museum is part of the larger archaeological site of the Palatine Hill, which was once the home of the Roman emperors and contains ruins of ancient palaces and other buildings.
